Equipment required for class

Due to Covid-19 I am no longer able to provide the small equipment we use in class such as head pads, resistance bands, etc. Here is a list of items that I would advise you investing in so you can get the most out of your session, and where you can purchase them.

  • A Pilates mat - a minimum of 10mm thickness is advised. Try to avoid Yoga mats as they are much thinner and won't provide enough support on the wooden floor. Amazon has a good selection of reasonably priced mats.

  • Resistance band - you will receive a complimentary medium resistance band on your first session if you do not already have one.

  • Head pad - In Pilates, we often use a soft, thin pad to aid optimal alignment of the spine and pelvis. It may be used under your head in supine or under your pelvis when working in prone. If you don't want to buy a pad you can use a folded hand towel instead. Specialist Pilates pads can be purchased on the internet, you are looking for something similar to the item on this link - https://www.physicalcompany.co.uk/1-small-pilates-head-pad-no-cover

  • Tennis ball/small massage ball
